    The Everyday Divorce Call

    “Hi, yeah, I need to talk to somebody about getting a divorce.”

    What it tests

    • Whether the new-matter path runs the simplified core intake in the right order, without slipping back into the old question banks.

    A passing answer

    • The agent acknowledges the caller and lets them explain what’s going on before asking for their name.
    • It then asks, one question per turn: full name and last-name spelling, confirmation of the caller-ID number, preferred callback time, county, and whether anything has been filed with the court. It may add a light email ask.
    • It closes with a one-line recap of name, number, and callback window.
    • The closing promises a callback about a consultation, with no claim that anything is scheduled.

    Watch for

    • Asking for the name before the situation.
    • Stacking name and phone into one turn.
    • Questions from the old banks creeping in (shared assets, other party’s name, children born of the marriage).
    • A long recap that reads back every answer.
    • Any version of “your consultation is booked.”
